Relaxing eye exercises

Person with their eyes closed in contemplation

Perfect to take a 5 minute screen break and practise to rest the eyes and calm the mind.

  • Put a small amount of Skin Food on finger tips, warm gently and then cup over closed eyelids. Breathe, at least five times. Gently press the Weleda Skin Food into the skin.
  • Using 2nd finger, push up the inside eye socket just below brow 3x. Then trace line above the brow to the end of the brow and tap back along the base of the lower eye socket.
  • Make circular or pinching movements along the brow line with fingertips.
  • Finish by cupping the eyes again with the whole hand and breathe.
  • Try the 4:6:8 ratio – inhale for 4, hold for 6 and exhale for 8 (slowly)
